As you may already know, we are big fans of wet noses here at Satori. Such big fans that we formed an animal welfare charity called Texas Wet Noses, Inc.
BUT, that doesn’t mean we can’t be lovers of ALL animals, including the ones with beaks! And it’s beaks that have us incredibly excited and honored to announce our newest partnership with the Houston Audubon Society.
A Bird Call
In 1969, Houston Audubon was formed by a group who saw the need to teach the world about the environment through a bird’s eye view. Their mission is simple: to advance the conservation of birds and positively impact their supporting environments. Fifty years later, it’s time to shine some light on their services, their impact, and all the incredible work they do. That’s where Satori comes in. They were looking for a marketing team with some im”peck”able ideas of how to educate the public on the importance of birds and help them “beak” up their membership levels. They “tweeted” and we answered their call.
As a land trust, Houston Audubon owns and manages 17 nature sanctuaries totaling 3,474 acres, on which 300 bird species have been documented. In addition to hands-on conservation, they also host over 600 educational events for children and adults annually, lead outreach efforts including a Bird-friendly Communities program and a native plants nursery, and advocate for birds in many ways. We can’t wait to start working with this amazing organization.

P.S. You might come to the office and catch a few bird puns flying around. Don’t be surprised if you come to the office and catch a few bird puns flying around. They “quack” us up!
