Scotty’s House, a Child Advocacy Center (CAC) in Bryan/College Station, was approved to receive Sawyer, a new facility dog, expertly trained to provide comfort to the young victims of abuse and their families. Branding and promoting their new facility dog program to their community was definitely unchartered territory for the 23-year-old nonprofit, and they needed a helping paw. Our team at Satori was tasked with developing a marketing campaign that was worth winning best in show.
That is how Paws for Hope was born: a new program that utilized Sawyer in difficult situations for the children, such as forensic interviews, counseling sessions, medical exams, and legal proceedings. Sawyer’s presence was to help calm children and their families, while receiving the important services Scotty’s House provides.
